Woodland Christmas Elf Revisisted

Now that the holiday season is upon us, I had to revive my beloved woodland christmas elf outfit.

(50s dress worn as skirt: flea market, Buenos Aires * 60s desert boots: thrifted * top: Sailor Jerry) 

I did a subtle, slightly smokey eye with green mascara. (I do not understand why green mascara isn't a makeup staple for more women because it is very flattering for brown eyes. )

I wait all year to use China Glaze "party hearty" glitter topcoat:

This time I've layered it over Essie's "mint candy apple." Expect more variations on this manicure now until Dec 26th.

Do you like to dress festively during the holiday season or do you find it cheesy?  (Fyi, while I'm building up my writing/historic preservation experience, I've been working at a craft store so I've definitely been feeling the xmas spirit.)
